Hands dug deep in the sand and feet soaked into the warm water. The glazing sun beat on her skin and the cold air filled her lungs. Salty sweat trikled down her lips and the ochre grains below her long legs, exfoliated her skin.
The sky was the same but the land was different. Beautiful magnetic blue waves stroked her toes and she sinked in deeper with every cold breath. Her phone clung safe in a plastic bag, making her worry free.
The birds chirped and her eyes widened through her dark sunglasses. The clouds made funny images and the humans chatted away in exotic soft languages. There was noise but it felt sweeter in a new place. The scent of chocolate and strawberry lured her nose. The thought of a sugary-cold ice cream, moving along her the warm linings of her throat, aroused her skin as the tinkling sound of an icecream truck passed by.
It was the perfect vacation. Away from all her fears, away from all her broken dreams and away from reality.
